 “Innovation in Milling for Rehabilitation” – S&A Tech talks about us
Published in:

The new telescopic arm with milling head developed by Laurini is featured in the latest in-depth article published by S&A Tech, a new specialized magazine recently launched by Strade & Autostrade, a long-standing editorial benchmark in the infrastructure sector, major works, and technologies for the maintenance and management of transport networks.

The article explains how the new Laurini system represents a concrete evolution in the field of milling applied to excavators, thanks to a specific design focused on operational precision, stability, and maximum efficiency in the most complex construction sites. The telescopic arm with milling head has been developed to ensure high performance in profiling and scarifying operations of tunnels, linings, and deteriorated surfaces, while maintaining compact dimensions and ease of transport.

Among the technical aspects highlighted in the feature, we find:
• continuous 360° rotation;
• hydraulic system designed to reduce vibrations and power losses;
• double locking system to increase rigidity and precision;
• compact structure with variable-width undercarriage;
• optimization of road and infrastructure maintenance operations.

According to the magazine, the project stems from Laurini’s experience in the development of special equipment for demolition, excavation, and redevelopment—a path that in recent years has led the company to develop increasingly specialized solutions dedicated to highly complex construction sites.

The article also emphasizes how Laurini’s philosophy is oriented toward the design of application-specific machines, capable of delivering greater efficiency, operational safety, and reduced intervention times compared to traditional adaptations of standard machines. A vision already expressed in innovative projects such as SETTANTA, the first machine entirely designed for demolition.
