Performing a pull test on the bollards already installed on the dock of the port of Piombino, for the arrival of the floating FSRU regasification unit “Golar Tundra.”
How did we solve it?
We designed and built a hydraulic jack system capable of reproducing the maximum required pull, up to 300 tons. These are operated by a remotely positioned hydraulic power unit, which allows recording the pull values graph with a certified system.
