Finding a practical solution to hydraulically lower the pilot cabin of an excavator to the ground and allow a disabled operator in a wheelchair to access it easily, giving them the opportunity to work.
How did we solve it?
We designed a system for rotating and guided lowering of the cabin using hydraulic cylinders. The system operates even when the engine is off and can be activated by a remote control.
