Finding a solution for centering piles during driving on the seabed in the Adriatic Sea to build a docking pier for the arrival of a floating FSRU regasification unit off the port of Ravenna.
How did we solve it?
We created a hydraulic system that, through remotely controlled movements, allows the pile to be moved along the X and Y axes and centered at the determined satellite position. The entire system is made up of steel parts hinged and movable with each other, with a total weight of over 70 tons.
