Gold Sponsor at IPLOCA Athens 2026: Thirty Years of Commitment to the Pipeline Industry
Published in:

From 28 September to 2 October 2026, Athens hosted the 58th IPLOCA Annual Convention, an international gathering for companies and professionals involved in the construction of pipelines and energy infrastructure. Laurini took part as a Gold Sponsor for the thirtieth consecutive year, represented by Marco Laurini and Michelangelo Blasi.

This year’s edition celebrated IPLOCA’s 60th anniversary, bringing together contractors, equipment manufacturers and suppliers. The convention’s meetings and sessions provided opportunities to explore the industry’s outlook, share experiences and discuss the requirements of international projects.

Part of the IPLOCA Community Since 1996

We joined the association in 1996. Since then, our support for the convention has accompanied Laurini’s journey in the pipeline industry, reflecting the value we place on dialogue among the companies involved in infrastructure construction.

Being a Gold Sponsor means supporting an event that brings together different areas of expertise: those who design machinery, those who organise construction activities and those who work in the field every day. For us, this exchange is a practical way to understand jobsite priorities and guide the development of our products.

Ground conditions, working environments and the tasks to be performed call for specific solutions. Listening to users allows us to explore these needs and translate them into design decisions, with a focus on reliability, productivity and ease of use.

Meeting Our Customers in Athens

The presence of Marco Laurini and Michelangelo Blasi also provided an opportunity to reconnect with longstanding customers and discuss their operational needs.

The photo below shows our representatives with the CEO of Techint Argentina, a longstanding customer that has been choosing Laurini products for its jobsites for years. The image reflects a relationship of trust built through field experience and familiarity with our machines.

Meetings like this give practical meaning to our participation in the convention: they allow us to gather feedback on product use, discuss customers’ requirements in greater depth and spend time with the people with whom we maintain lasting professional relationships.

A Commitment That Continues Beyond the Convention

IPLOCA’s 60th anniversary gave particular significance to the Athens edition, celebrating the history of an association that promotes the exchange of knowledge within the international pipeline community.

For Laurini, the event also marked a milestone: thirty years of support for the convention and involvement in an industry that is central to our business.

Our commitment continues every day through machinery design, support for users and attention to jobsite needs. Through this work, we build on the relationships established over time and contribute to the development of technologies for the pipeline industry.
