Tunnel Goat 18T is a self-propelled pipe carrier cart capable of moving easily within a confined and narrow structure like a tunnel. It is available in two versions, electric or diesel-powered, to handle different types of tunnels and their respective inclines. It can transport DN64” pipes up to 18 meters long and up to 18 tons in weight, to be positioned, aligned, and welded before final placement. Equipped with two cabins, one at the front and one at the rear, to be used depending on the direction of travel, it ensures the operator has a good view of the path. If needed, the operator can also drive the cart using a remote control. The special modular construction allows for container shipment and makes future maintenance operations easier.
